The pilot · May 2026 · Sarzana, Liguria

We brought our real work to Sarzana and shared daily life around it.

In May 2026, people from different parts of the world lived and worked together in Sarzana for two weeks. Deadlines and calls stayed real; around them came shared meals, skill sharing, time outdoors, and the ordinary moments that helped people connect.

  1. The workdays

    The laptops stayed open

Deadlines, calls, and focused work continued throughout the two weeks. Shared time fitted around the workday—not the other way around.

  2. The home base

    Sarzana became familiar

Living in one place gave everyday routes, shared kitchens, and local plans enough time to feel like part of daily life.

  3. The shared rhythm

Work first, then everything around it

People could finish their work, then join dinner, an activity, or time together whenever they were ready.

  4. What people brought

    Everyone added something

Food, movement, creative practices, ideas, and games came from people across the group—not from a conference agenda.

01The question we brought with us

Could real work and real connection fit into the same two weeks?

That was the point of the pilot. Nobody had to pretend their deadlines or calls had disappeared; we protected the workday and created regular opportunities to share the time around it.

  • Work did not disappear

People kept doing their actual jobs throughout the two weeks. Shared plans happened around the workday, with room for anyone who needed to finish later or join another time.

  • The group shaped the two weeks

People from different parts of the world shared food, movement, creative practices, business ideas, wellbeing sessions, and games. Everyone arrived with a different culture, rhythm, and something of their own to add.

  • We kept the practical bits moving

We coordinated reservations, transport, meeting points, and last-minute changes so people could keep working, choose what to join, and avoid becoming their own event managers.

02Two weeks in real life

Plans, spontaneous ideas, and plenty in between.

Some plans came from us, some came from people in the group, and others simply emerged along the way. These moments belong to the Sarzana pilot; the first edition in Puglia will create its own mix.

  • Cook and eat together

Welcome dinners, pesto and pizza making, food sessions led by people in the group, and regional meals gave everyone a table to return to.

  • Get moving outside

Running, padel, surfing, and hiking created time together outdoors. Nobody had to turn the pilot into a sports holiday to take part.

  • Share what you know

Sessions moved between business, creativity, food, wellbeing, and games. No polished conference talk required—just a willingness to share something with the group.

  • Meet Sarzana and its surroundings

A local market, thermal baths, a vineyard visit, live music, and regional producers helped the group experience the area beyond a list of tourist stops.

03From the camera roll

A few moments from the pilot.

Four phone photos from shared kitchens, the coast, a vineyard, and the beach—not the whole story, just small pieces of two weeks lived together.
